SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Baltimore Ravens safety Marcus Williams hauled in an interception one day after he was activated off the Injured Reserve list.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted the Ravens at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday, December 11.

A day prior to the contest, Williams was activated off the Injured Reserve list. He’d been out with a dislocated wrist that he suffered on October 9.

With 3:03 remaining in the third quarter, Steelers quarterback Mitchell Trubisky overthrew his intended receiver and Williams went into wideout mode. The former Ute picked the ball off at the Baltimore one-yard line.

It was Williams’ fourth pick of the season.

At the time of the interception, the Ravens owned a 13-7 lead.

Following the play, Williams had two total tackles, one solo tackle, one pass breakup, and an interception.

Entering the game, Williams had recorded 33 total tackles, 26 solo tackles, one fumble recovery, three interceptions, and five pass breakups in five games this season.

Baltimore’s game against Pittsburgh is televised on CBS and NFL Sunday Ticket.
