Former USU LB Bobby Wagner Signs With Super Bowl Champion Rams

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah State linebacker Bobby Wagner has signed a free agent deal with the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.
The six-time All-Pro player was released by the Seattle Seahawks on March 8.
Wagner joined Seattle’s NFC West rival on March 31.

About Bobby Wagner
The former USU standout was selected to his eighth consecutive Pro Bowl in 2021.
This season, Wagner recorded 170 total tackles, 93 solo tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, one interception, and five pass breakups.
During his 10-year career, Wagner has posted 1,383 total tackles, 818 solo tackles, 23.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries, 11 interceptions, 60 pass breakups, and one touchdown in 150 games.

Wagner helped Seattle win Super Bowl XLVIII in 2013.
The Seahawks missed the postseason with a 7-10 record in 2021.

Los Angeles finished the regular season with a 12-5 record before its postseason run. The Rams beat the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and San Francisco 49ers to reach Super Bowl LVI. Los Angeles beat the Cincinnati Bengals to win the Super Bowl.
