Tom Hackett

Tom Hackett moved to Utah from Melbourne, Australia in 2012 after joining the University of Utah Football team as the punter. During his four year stint at the University of Utah, Tom was awarded the Ray Guy award (the best punter in the world award) two years in a row. He is a two-time All-America, a member of the Pac 12 all century team, and holds many punting records at the University of Utah. After his career ended with the Utes, he signed an undrafted free agent contract with the New York Jets. Tom started working with Bonneville Media in January 2019. He is the host of Special Forces Gang Podcast along with Andy Phillips and is in the process of developing Bonneville’s newest Podcast, Real Salt Lake. Tom currently lives in Salt Lake city with his wife Kate and best friend and lover of the mountains Berkeley The Dog. Tom is passionate about golfing, exercising, cooking and spending times with the ones he loves the most.
