No. 2 Lone Peak Sneaks Past No. 7 Bingham, Advances To 6A Semifinals

SALT LAKE CITY – The second-ranked Lone Peak Knights are heading to Rice-Eccles Stadium after knocking off No. 7 Bingham 21-14 in the 6A quarterfinals.
No. 7 Bingham 14 @ No. 2 Lone Peak 21
Dallen Martinez got the Miners on the board first with a rushing touchdown. Lone Peak countered with 21 unanswered points with Easton Comer throwing two touchdowns, finding Cole Christensen and Luke Hyde. Mason Patane capped that run with a fumble recovery for a TD. Bingham scored late in the third quarter when Saia Lomu ran in a touchdown.
Lone Peak will battle No. 3 Skyridge in the semifinals on Friday, November 12 at 6:30 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

No. 8 American Fork 28 @ No. 1 Corner Canyon 45
The Chargers jumped out to a 28-7 halftime lead and never looked back. Devin Brown threw for five touchdowns, finding Cody Hagen and Dylan Carlson twice and Jon King once. Drew Patterson added a rushing TD. For American Fork, Maddux Madsen had two passing and one rushing touchdown, connecting with Trey Roberts on both occasions.
Corner Canyon will face No. 4 Weber in the semifinals on Friday, November 12 at 2:30 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

No. 6 Farmington 7 @ No. 3 Skyridge 53
The No. 3 Skyridge Falcons flew past the No. 6 Farmington Phoenix, 53-7. Falcons quarterback McCae Hillstead tossed three touchdowns during the game. Teagen Calton ran for a pair of Skyridge scores.
Skyridge will take on No. 2 Lone Peak in the semifinals on Friday, November 12 at 6:30 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
