Derrick Favors Thanks Jazz, Quin Snyder, Teammates, Fans For His Experience In Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Jazzman and current Oklahoma City Thunder center Derrick Favors thanked the Utah Jazz, Quin Snyder, his former teammates, and Jazz Nation for his experience during his time in Utah.
Utah traded Favors to OKC in July.
Before NBA teams begin training camp in preparation for the upcoming season, Favors shared a post of gratitude on his Instagram account.
“First, I want to thank the fans for all the consistent love and support they have shown over the past decade. I also want to thank the entire Jazz organization, Coach Snyder, my teammates, and the coaching staff for shaping me, embracing me, and making my playing career so enjoyable. I have nothing but love for Utah and I will always be grateful for this experience. Thank you Jazz Nation!”

Derrick Favor’s Career
After playing the first half of his rookie season with the New Jersey Nets, Favors came to the Jazz in a trade during the 2010-11 season.
The big man would go on to play the following eight-plus seasons with Utah.

After the 2018-19 season, the Jazz traded Favors to the New Orleans Pelicans.
The center owns career averages of 10.8 points, 7.2 boards, 1.1 assists, and 1.2 blocks.
The Jazz open the 2021-22 regular season at home against Favors and the Thunder on October 20.
