BYU RB Allgeier Scores Back-To-Back Touchdowns Against USF On 4th & Goal Plays

PROVO, Utah – BYU running back Tyler Allgeier scored touchdowns on back-to-back drives against the South Florida Bulls. Both scores came on 4th & Goal.
The Cougars hosted the Bulls at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, September 25.
With 4:20 left in the first quarter, the Cougars decided to go for it on 4th & Goal for the second consecutive drive.
Allgeier received the handoff from BYU quarterback Baylor Romney and ran it in for his second one-yard touchdown of the quarter.

The run gave the Cougars a 21-0 lead.
The score capped an eight-play, 34-yard drive that lasted 3:33.

On the previous drive, BYU went for it on 4th & Goal and Allgeier punched it in from one yard out.
Following his second touchdown run, Allgeier had five carries for 32 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
