Dixie Stuns No. 19 Crimson Cliffs In Big Region 10 Win

SALT LAKE CITY – The 19th-ranked Crimson Cliffs Mustangs lost their first Region 10 game of the season on the road 24-19 to the Dixie Flyers on Friday.

Crimson Cliffs started the game with a touchdown run by McCord Christiansen. Dixie answered with a long TD pass from Jalen Schultz to Blake Watson. The Mustangs took the lead back with a touchdown connection between Steele Barben and Luke Childs. The Flyers went on to score 17 unanswered points before Crimson Cliffs found the end zone late in the fourth quarter. Schultz finished with one rushing touchdown and two passing TD’s.

Cedar City 13 @ Desert Hills 52
Desert Hills dominated in the first half, scoring 45 points in the first half. Noah Fuailetolo threw six touchdown passes, finding Tayven Mortensen, Lincoln Holmes, and Javiyen Cummings twice each. Kona Crowell added a rushing touchdown for the Thunder.
Snow Canyon 56 @ Pine View 14
The Warriors scored 28 points in the first quarter and never looked back. Hunter Johnson passed for four touchdowns, connecting with Will Warner twice, and once each to Carson Nowatzke and Teagan Hugh. Johnson also ran in two touchdowns. Max Reynolds and Cael Johnson each added a rushing TD.
Logan 10 @ Ridgeline 13
It was all field goals in the first half with Ridgeline holding a 6-3 lead. The Grizzlies took the lead with a touchdown run by Tytan Mason. Midway through the fourth quarter, Ian Dahle found Hunter Knighton for a touchdown to give the Riverhawks the lead and the win.
Bear River 13 @ Mountain Crest 41
Casey Crofts threw four touchdown passes, connecting with Will DeKorver twice and once each to Cooper Gardner, Zander Ryan, and Landon Beus. Carson Olsen added a rushing touchdown. For Bear River, Owen Olsen ran in their only touchdown.
Sky View 3 @ Green Canyon 0
The game was scoreless until Calebe de Quandros hit a 40-yard field goal with under three minutes remaining in the game to give Sky View the win.
