Both Gach Will Not Return To Utah In 2023, Pursuing NBA

SALT LAKE CITY- Utah guard Both Gach will not take the Covid-year provided by the NCAA in 2023 and instead with pursue the NBA. This opens up another scholarship that head coach Craig Smith can use in his rebuild of the Runnin’ Utes.

Gach’s Career
Gach joined the Utes as part of the 2018 signing class. During his college career that also included a short stint with Minnesota in the 2020-’21 season before returning to Utah, Gach played in 116 total games, starting 64 of them.
In Gach’s final season at Utah, he played in 30 games, starting in nine while shooting 51.8% from the 2, 80.3% from the free-throw line, and contributing 66 assists. Defensively, Gach was responsible for 77 total rebounds, ten offensive and 67 defensive. He also contributed 22 steals and five blocks in 2021-’22.
As a four-star wing in high school at Arizona Compass, Gach was responsible for 24 points, seven assists, and eight rebounds per game.
