Jaren Hall Drops Hype Video For 2022 BYU Football Season
PROVO, Utah – Fifth-year junior Jaren Hall looks to take the BYU football offense to greater heights in 2022. Hall completed his first entire season as BYU’s starting quarterback last year, helping guide the Cougars to a 10-3 record and ranking in the final AP Top 25 poll.
A year ago, Hall had to earn the starting quarterback job over the likes of Baylor Romney and Jacob Conover. There’s no debate this year; Hall is the clear-cut No. 1 quarterback as he guides BYU into its final year of life as an Independent program.

“He looks like he’s starting to really own the offense,” said BYU head coach Kalani Sitake. “You know you feel good about it when you see him talking to the other players and giving them advice and kind of being another coach out there. When in the years past, he’s been trying to learn it himself and trying to get it down. But now, I feel like he’s really in a good zone right now. So, we’ve just got to keep it rolling.”
To get fans excited for the upcoming 2022 BYU football season that opens on Saturday, September 3, at South Florida in Tampa Bay, Hall dropped a hype video showcasing his talents. In addition, the Spanish Fork native recently was verified on Instagram and has been growing his social media presence this offseason.

Hall’s followers, including many of his current and former teammates at BYU, liked what they saw from QB1.
BYU wide receiver Puka Nacua wrote, “In 3 we trust.” Gunner Romney added, “Big fan.” Then tight end Isaac Rex gave a solid nickname for Hall, “The Hall Monitor.”
