Midfielder Albert Rusnák Says Goodbye To Real Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY – Midfielder Albert Rusnák said goodbye to Real Salt Lake and shared gratitude for his time with Utah’s Major League Soccer club.
Rusnák shared the news that his time with RSL has come to an end with a social media post on Saturday, January 9.
“I want to take the time to let everyone know that the last 5 years playing in front of you and representing the Claret-and-Cobalt has truly been an honor. My time at Real Salt Lake is done and while it is now time to say goodbye, please know that I will cherish our memories, how we overcame many obstacles, in the face of immeasurable odds. Thank you for your passion, support and the love you expressed to me, my family and the team.” – Albert Rusnák

Rusnák played for Real Salt Lake from 2017-2021.
During his five seasons with RSL, Rusnák 41 goals on 324 shots, including 130 shots on goal. He added 39 assists in 140 matches, including 135 starts.
Rusnák helped Real Salt Lake reached the Western Conference Final of the MLS Cup Playoffs in his final season with the club.
