Cooper Legas Hits Brandon Bowling For Second TD Throw Of LA Bowl

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah State backup quarterback Cooper Legas is having himself a game after throwing his second TD pass of the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.
Cooper Legas connected with Brandon Bowling for a five-yard touchdown to give Utah State a 24-10 lead over Oregon State with 3:49 remaining in the third quarter.
It’s the second touchdown of the game for Legas, with his first coming in the second quarter on his first career pass attempt. He found Deven Thompkins for a 62-yard touchdown pass.

On the third quarter drive, Utah State pulled out all the tricks. First one included a backwards pass to wide receiver Derek Wright, who threw a forward pass back to Legas for a 20+ yard gain.
Then when the Aggies were in the red zone, Legas was about to snap when he stopped and looked at the USU sideline. While that was happening, Elelyon Noa took the direct snap for a short gain.
