BYU’s Jaren Hall Connects With Puka Nacua To Open Game Against USC

LOS ANGELES – BYU quarterback Jaren Hall threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver to start the Cougars’ game against the USC Trojans.
The Trojans hosted the No. 13 Cougars at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, November 27.
With 7:24 left in the opening quarter, Hall tossed a 28-yard ball into the end zone and the hands of a wide-open Nacua.
The Hall-Nacua touchdown gave the Cougars a 7-3 lead after their first offensive possession.

USC scored on a field goal on the opening drive of the game.

The score capped an eight-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 3:56.
After the toss, Hall was 3/4 passing for 52 yards and a touchdown. Hall entered the contest having thrown for 2,307 yards, 18 touchdowns, and three interceptions this season.
Nacua had one reception for 28 yards and a touchdown. He came to Los Angeles with 39 catches for 754 yards and five touchdowns in 2021.
