Utah Jazz Honor Derrick Favors With Tribute Video

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz paid tribute to Derrick Favors during the team’s season-opening game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Jazz hosted the Thunder at Vivint Arena on Wednesday, October 20.
Utah played a video of Favors highlights in between the first and second quarters of the game.

After the video, the former Jazzman waved to the crowd.
Favors started the game for the Thunder. Before walking onto the court for the opening tip-off, Favors embraced Jazz head coach Quin Snyder on the sidelined.

About Derrick Favors
After playing the first half of his rookie season with the New Jersey Nets, Favors came to the Jazz in a trade during the 2010-11 season.
The big man would go on to play the following eight-plus seasons with Utah.

After the 2018-19 season, the Jazz traded Favors to the New Orleans Pelicans.
The center owns career averages of 10.8 points, 7.2 boards, 1.1 assists, and 1.2 blocks.
