Blackmon is in his first season in the NFL after being taken in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. He is having a tremendous rookie season that will certainly earn consideration for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

The Layton, Utah native has impressed the world with his play after coming back from a season-ending knee injury in the 2019 Pac-12 Championship game against Oregon.

Blackmon didn’t play in Week 1 of the season. He made his NFL debut in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. The former Ute made his first career start for the Colts in Week 3 and has started ever since.

This season, Blackmon has 32 total tackles, 27 solo takedowns, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, two interceptions and 6 pass breakups.

The Colts are 8-4 this season after their 26-20 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday. They will travel to Las Vegas on Sunday, December 13 to face the Raiders at 2:05 p.m. MST on CBS.
