INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Former Utah safety Julian Blackmon has been removed from the Indianapolis Colts’ active/non-football injury list.

This means that Blackmon can now practice with the Colts as they prepare for their season.

Blackmon was taken by the Colts in the third round with the 85th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The former Utah All-American suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Pac-12 Championship game last December.

The Layton, Utah native tweeted his excitement about the news of coming off the active/non-football injury list on Monday.

The Colts open the 2020 season on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, September 13.
