Mike Conley Drills Three-Pointer For First Field Goal After Missing Month

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah guard Mike Conley made an above the break three-point jump shot for his first field goal after missing the last month of Jazz games with a hamstring injury.
Conley and the Jazz hosted the Sacramento Kings at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Saturday, January 18.
The Jazz guard received a pass from Royce O’Neale, rose up beyond the arc, and let the three-point attempt fly just before the 24-second shot clock expired. Conley’s shot fell through the cylinder for the first since December 17, 2019.

Conley basket put the Jazz up 102-85 with 9:06 left in the fourth quarter.
The Jazzman started the game shooting 0-2 on field goals before the make from downtown.
The @UtahJazz answer the Kings run with a quick 5-0 powered by a deep Mike Conley three with a short shot clock and a steal + dunk from Jordan Clarkson to build the lead back to 19.
Jazz lead 104-85 with 8:41 left in the game.

After the triple, his stat line featured 3 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and a steal in 13 minutes of play.
Conley posted a +8 plus-minus rating up to that point in the game.

He subs out with 6:13 left in the game.

The point guard missed 14 consecutive games and 19 of Utah’s last 20 games with a hamstring injury before his appearance against the Kings.
