Former BYU Star Elijah Bryant Reported Set To Play For Bucks In Summer League

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU basketball star Elijah Bryant will be suiting up for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2019 NBA Summer League.
The news was first reported by international and European basketball news outlet Sportando.
It’ll be Bryant’s second summer playing with an NBA squad as he spent the 2018 Las Vegas Summer League with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Bryant left BYU after his junior season to turn pro ahead of the 2018 NBA Draft. He was not picked in the draft, and left to play overseas in Israel. In his rookie year with Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli Premier League, Bryant led the team in scoring with 17.5 points with 5.7 rebounds. He also shot well going 65 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from beyond the arc.
Last summer with the 76ers’ Las Vegas squad, Bryant averaged 8.8 minutes per game with 3.5 points per outing.
The 2019 NBA Summer League will take place July 5-15 in Las Vegas.
