Martha Ford, longtime owner of the Detroit Lions is stepping down. Scott Mitchell offers an insightful perspective into his time under the Detroit Lions ownership. He explains how franchise ownership determines the long term success or failure of a team. Brett Favre compared Colin Kaepernick to Pat Tillman. Tillman left the NFL to serve in the Army and was later killed. Scott gives his take on this comparison that Favre later clarified in a statement.  Scott also discusses the drama that unfolded at Talledega. NASCAR's only black driver was thought to be the victim of a hate crime when a noose was found in his garage. The FBI determined it was a garage pull. NASCAR released photos of the noose after the investigation concluded.
