SALT LAKE CITY – Joe Ingles has dropped the price of his Salt Lake City house, again.
The Ingles house was first listed in August for $3.5 million, but Joe and his wife Renae dropped it to $3.2 million after nearly a month on the market.
Now, a month later, the price of the Ingles house has dipped again to just $2.95 million, a $250k decrease.
With rising national interest rates homes have been sitting on the market longer than they did immediately following the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The average national interest rate is now over seven percent.
Unique Features In Joe Ingles House
Ingles originally listed the house located at 2828 E. Kennedy Drive near Emigration Canyon for $3.5 million in mid-August.
The house, built in 1986, features six bedrooms, five and a half baths, and measures 6,040 square feet on a half-acre lot.
“Nestled at the edge of Emigration Canyon and the foothills of Salt Lake City, this classic Cape Cod 2-story sits on nearly half an acre in the prestigious St. Mary’s neighborhood,” according to the listing. “Located across from a charming neighborhood park, this property enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding canyon and mountains.”

The property history shows the house was last purchased in 2020 and was briefly listed in June before being pulled off the market.
Though Ingles is selling the property, he is leaving a piece of Jazz history behind for the new owner.
“The sprawling backyard serves as the crown jewel of this property with a pergola covered patio, manicured lawn and garden beds and a custom Utah Jazz sport court,” the listing reads.
The monthly mortgage payment is estimated at just under $14,000 a month.
Joe Ingles Signs With Bucks
After playing the first seven and a half years of his NBA career with the Jazz, Ingles was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers at last season’s trade deadline.
The forward was in the final year of his contract with the Jazz and had recently suffered a season-ending ACL injury.
Ingles never suited up for the Trail Blazers and became a free agent over the summer.

Shortly after free agency opened in June, Ingles announced he would sign with the Milwaukee Bucks as he continued to rehab his torn ACL.
According to Bucks GM Jon Horst, the team is hoping Ingles will be able to return to the court in January.
Ingles played 590 games for the Jazz, including 313 starts. During his time in Utah, the Australian averaged 8.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.2 blocks, and 0.9 steals in 25.7 minutes per game.
