SALT LAKE CITY – Tiger Woods was emotional as he walked down the 18th fairway at St. Andrews for potentially the last time at The Open Championship following his nine-over-par performance over the opening two days to miss the cut.

It remains unknown if Woods will play in another Open Championship at St. Andrews, and based on his reaction it would appear that he believes the chances are slim.

St. Andrews, otherwise known as the home of golf, is a very special and historic golfing venue that is beloved by golf fans around the world for its rich history, difficult weather conditions, and unique playing.

The greens at St. Andrews are gigantic. So big that the 5th green alone could fit five greens from Pebble Beach inside of it.

Currently, the Australian Cameron Smith leads the charge atop the leaderboard at 11-under-par, Dustin Johnson is one shot behind Smith, and Cameron Young is sitting at nine-under-par despite holding a two-shot overnight lead.

The broadcast can be found on Peacock streaming service.
