In a conference that features No. 2 Gonzaga, this might be a battle to determine who is second place in the WCC. But that doesn’t take away from both being some of the top squads out west this year.
BYU comes into Saturday’s game against San Francisco with a 14-4 record overall, 2-1 in WCC play. The Dons are off to their best start in years, going 15-2 through the first 17 games. USF is 2-0 in WCC play and is seeking their first NCAA Tournament bid since 1998.
Saturday night will be the 32nd all-time between BYU and San Francisco. BYU is 8-6 (6-6 for NCAA vacated wins) all-time in games played on The Hilltop at San Francisco. Last season, BYU won at USF 72-63.
