SALT LAKE CITY – With the Utah Jazz and Real Salt Lake being united under the same banner of the Smith Entertainment group, it was only a matter of time until the two franchises gave fans a moment they never knew they needed.

Ryan Smith announced he had bought the Jazz in December 2020 and made headlines in January 2022 by joining David Blitzer to buy Real Salt Lake.

You may not find lions, tigers and bears housed together at Hogle Zoo, but an unlikely bond between RSL’s Leo the Lion and the Jazz Bear has been forged.
