SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah women’s basketball game against California that was scheduled for Thursday has been postponed due to COVID issues with the Bears’ program.
The Pac-12 will try to reschedule the contest.
It’s the fifth straight game that has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues for Utah. They were in a COVID-19 pause with players in the health and safety protocols and had their games against Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA and USC postponed.
The Utah women’s basketball team’s last game they played was on the road against Oklahoma on December 21. They are currently 8-3 overall and have yet to play a Pac-12 game. Their next scheduled game is on Sunday, January 16 against No. 2 Stanford at noon MT on the Pac-12 Network.
