Pledger, Rising Extend Utah’s Lead Over Oregon During Pac-12 Title Game

LAS VEGAS – Utah running back TJ Pledger ran into the end zone for a goal line touchdown to take a commanding lead against the Oregon Ducks.
The No. 17 Utes and No. 10 Ducks played in the Pac-12 Conference Championship game at Allegiant Stadium on Friday, December 3.
With 6:33 left in the third quarter, Pledger burst for four yards and across the goal line for a Utah touchdown.
The score extended the Utes’ lead to 29-3.

After the run, Pledger had four carries for 14 yards and a touchdown.
Utah quarterback Cam Rising ran into the end zone for a two-point conversion after Pledger’s run. The two-point play stretched the lead to 31-3.
The touchdown capped a three-play, 45-yard drive that lasted only 26 seconds.
Following the drive, Rising was 12/21 passing for 151 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. He added eight carries for 52 yards on the ground.
The Pac-12 title game between Utah and Oregon is broadcast on ABC and 700 AM.
