SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tony Finau was seated in between Dwyane Wade and Ryan Smith at the opening Utah Jazz game of the season as they took on Derrick Favors and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With five and a half minutes remaining in the second quarter, the cameras panned over to Wade, Finau, and Ryan and caught Finau sharing some swing tips with Wade.
Ryan Smith and Dwyane Wade are doing incredible things for the Utah Jazz but flipping Tony Finau from a Lakers fan to a Jazz fan might be their greatest accomplishment to date. #TakeNote pic.twitter.com/kZMTSAO4No

Based on the video above, it is apparent that Finau is discussing the appropriate wrist movement in a golf swing. The two are engaged in a very serious conversation surrounding the “perfect” golf swing and fortunately for Wade Finau is the most credible golfer in the history of Utah to provide that expertise.
Wade has enjoyed the game of golf a lot since his retirement in 2019 and is frequently uploading social video photos and videos from the golf course, more often than not, Wade is playing alongside Ryan.
Ryan is also a very determined golfer himself and has participated in many celebrity golf tournaments over the years.
When Ryan bought the Utah Jazz from the Miller family in October of 2020, Finau was fast to change his allegiance to Utah after growing up as a passionate Los Angeles Laker fan due to his fandom of the late Kobe Bryant.
Finau has frequented Vivint Smart Home Arena a lot since Ryan took over the ownership of the team, and is expected to be a frequent face among the fans that pack the stadium throughout this season.
