Reports: Jazz Trade Dante Exum To Cleveland In Exchange For Jordan Clarkson

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Utah Jazz have traded point guard Dante Exum to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Jordan Clarkson.
Also, according to reports, the Jazz will send two future second round picks to the Cavaliers. Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports that the two draft picks include the 2022 pick from San Antonio and 2023 pick from Golden State.

Exum was drafted by the Jazz in 2014 as the 5th overall pick in the NBA Draft. He has played in 215 games in a Jazz uniform and has career averages of 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.2 steals, shooting 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from downtown.
He has been out of the rotation after suffering a season-ending injury last year and has had his career plagued by injuries. This season, Exum has played in 11 games and posted 2.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game average.
Clarkson is in his third season with the Cavaliers after being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers. He was taken in the second round, 46th overall selection in the 2014 NBA Draft. This season, he is averaging 14.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Clarkson is shooting 44 percent from the field and 37 percent from beyond the arc in 29 games played.
In his career, Clarkson has averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. He is in the final year of his contract is will make $13.4 million this season.
